Directions

Brownies

Preheat oven to 350°

Using a fork or whisk; mix the cocoa, flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside.

In a separate bowl; combine the melted butter, sugar, vanilla and eggs.

Using a hand mixer; slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet. Mix until just smooth. (batter will be thick)

Spread evenly into an extra greased 9 inch springform pan.

Place springform on a cookie sheet and bake for 26-28 minutes or until a toothpick can be inserted and removed cleanly.

Allow brownies to cool then transfer to the refrigerator or freezer until cold.

Ice Cream Pie

Wipe the inside of the springform pan to remove any grease residue.

Top brownie layer with softened vanilla ice cream.

Return springform pan to freezer until ice cream is firm.

Chop your Milky Way Bites into delicious little chunks.

Spread a layer of softened chocolate ice cream on top of the vanilla layer.

Top with Milky Way chunks and return to freezer. Freeze overnight.

To release the springform, run a wash cloth under hot water and wipe along the outside of the springform pan. Repeat 2-3 times then release the springform and carefully remove the sides
