Happy National Donut Day to my chocolate fans! In case you were wondering, I have my own personal list of where to get the freshest and most amazing donuts all over the country. Comment below and tell me if you have tried any of these!
1. Jerry’s Donuts “Chocolate Filled” in Dallas
Absolutely fantastic. I dream about this donut! Nothing beats the chocolate filling on this amazing donut. If you are in Dallas, rush over there to grab the best donuts in the city.
2. Shipley’s “Chocolate Filled” in Houston
Growing up in Houston, you almost couldn’t go a couple of miles/streets without hitting a Shipley’s donut shop. It probably where my love of hot fresh donuts began.
3. Sublime “Yin Yang Twist” in Atlanta
The Yin Yang Twist donut gives you the best of both worlds with a little bit of glazed and a little bit of chocolate. Bite into this donut and you will be addicted!
4. Bob’s “Chocolate Frosted” in LA
Always hot & always fresh, the Chocolate Frosted Donut from Bob’s in LA is perfection. Everytime I go out to LA I always go and get one. You will go crazy for this incredible treat.
5. Doughnut Plant “Chocolate White Doughnut” in NYC
If you are looking for a one-of-a-kind donut, this one is it! It has some of the best donuts in NYC. I think their Chocolate White Donut is pretty outstanding. It is a great pastry to eat in the morning.
6. Krispy Kreme “Chocolate Frosted”
You can’t beat a fresh Krispy Kreme donut. Since today is National Donut Day, they are giving out free donuts at every location in the USA & Canada! These donuts are a classic go-to…who doesn’t love a free donut?!
