>Atlanta: Alpharetta’s Alpine Bakery- Look at those cakes!

This used tobe a horse farm, marked and easily seen for miles by the 3 silos that stillremain on the property. Now it is adeveloped shopping center in Alpharetta, GA.

OK, so Iwalk into the Alpine Bakery (Pizzeria and Trattoria) and am immediately given asample of the “French Breast” pastry by the beautiful redheaded hostess,Tammy.  How can you not love thisplace!!!  The pizza is about as good asyou can find anywhere. Crispy thin crust NY pizza with great cheese and pepperoni.   

And then there are the desserts: I counted about 20 different Cakes and Cheesecakes – in all flavors and combinations.  Each one looked unbelievable.  We got a pieceof the Oreo Cookies and Cream Cake and the Plain Chocolate Fudge Cake.  Huge, decadent and delicious!! It was dessert for 5 of us, that night.  Everyone can’t wait to go back for more.
